Personal data is generally processed within the European Union or the European Economic Area. If, in individual cases, service providers outside the EEA are involved, this is done exclusively in compliance with the requirements of Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR and on the basis of appropriate safeguards.
The customer is the data controller within the meaning of the GDPR. MONA AI processes personal data exclusively on behalf of and according to the instructions of the customer in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
In connection with the use of the software, contact and master data, applicant and employee data, as well as user and system data may be processed. The type, scope, and purpose of the processing are determined by the respective contractual relationship and the customer's instructions.
Access to personal data is restricted to authorized individuals and is role- and purpose-bound. Technical and organizational measures ensure that unauthorized access is prevented.
Data may be used to improve and further develop the software. Insofar as this involves personal data, it will only be used after prior complete anonymization.
MONA AI uses selected service providers who may have access to personal data as part of providing their services. We provide a transparent and up-to-date overview of the subcontractors we use.
To protect personal data, MONA AI uses appropriate technical and organizational measures, including access and authorization concepts, encryption, logging, and measures to ensure availability.
After termination of the contract, personal data will either be deleted or returned to the customer at the customer's request, provided there are no legal retention obligations.
MONA AI is overseen by an externally appointed data protection officer with regard to data protection law.
